How the Solid Card works
The Solid Card lets you spend your balance anywhere Visa is accepted.
Behind the scenes:
- Your soUSD is converted to USDC when needed
- Transactions settle on-chain
- You don’t manage gas or bridges
From your perspective, it works like a normal card.
Card architecture (high level)
- User funds live in a Safe smart account
- Card transactions trigger secure settlement
- Issuing & processing handled by licensed partners
- Solid never takes custody of funds
Card limits & merchant rules (overview)
- Daily spending limits apply
- Certain merchant categories may be restricted
- Limits depend on card tier and region

Where the Solid Card is available
- Virtual cards are available first in:
- US
- LATAM
- Africa
- More regions are coming
- Europe & Asia are expected around Q1 2026
