Solid Rewards Terms and Conditions

The end-user terms for the Solid Rewards program: eligibility, tiers, subscriptions and FUSE locks, points, card cashback, category cashback, Yield Boost, referrals, and program rules.

Updated October 8, 2026

These Solid Rewards Terms and Conditions (the "Rewards Terms") govern your participation in the Solid Rewards program (the "Program"). By tapping "Agree & Join" on the Rewards screen, you accept these Rewards Terms. These Rewards Terms supplement, and form part of, the Solid User Terms. If there is a conflict, the Solid User Terms govern except where these Rewards Terms specifically address the Program. Last updated: 8 October 2026.

1. Eligibility

To join the Program you must have a Solid account in good standing, have completed any required identity verification, be of legal age in your jurisdiction, and be located in a region where the Program and the relevant benefits are available. Some benefits, including the Solid card and card cashback, are available only in eligible regions and are subject to the rules of our card partners. We may decline, suspend, or remove enrollment where eligibility is not met.

2. Enrolling and earning points

Points begin accruing only after you opt in on the Rewards screen. You earn points through the following activities:

  • Save: 1 point per hour for every $1 you hold in a Solid vault (USDC, ETH, and FUSE).
  • Card balance: 1 point per hour for every $1 you hold in your Solid card balance.
  • Spend: 1 point for every $1 you spend on your Solid card.
  • Swap: 1 point for every $1 you swap in the app.

Referral rewards for inviting friends are described in Section 9.

Point accrual is based on activity recorded by Solid and may be calculated using the U.S. dollar value of balances and transactions at the time of the activity. We may round, batch, or adjust point calculations, and may correct errors. Points do not determine your tier. Additional uses of points may be introduced in the future and will be described in these Rewards Terms or in the app when available.

3. Tiers

The Program has three tiers: Core, Prime, and Ultra. All members start in Core. You may upgrade to Prime by paying the annual Prime subscription or by locking the required amount of FUSE, and to Ultra by locking the required amount of FUSE, as described in Section 4. Your tier determines your card cashback rate, your monthly cashback cap, your category cashback rates, your Yield Boost, your fee schedule, and certain other benefits.

4. Subscriptions and FUSE locks

4.1 Annual Prime subscription. The Prime subscription costs $199 per year, payable from your Solid balance at the time of purchase. Prime is activated immediately and remains active for 12 months from the date of payment. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each 12-month period and the renewal fee is charged to your Solid balance, unless you turn off renewal in the app before the renewal date or your balance is insufficient, in which case Prime ends at the end of the period. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. The subscription price may change; a change applies to renewals made after it takes effect and is shown in the app before you pay.

4.2 FUSE lock. You may unlock Prime by locking 50,000 FUSE, or Ultra by locking 400,000 FUSE, for a period of 12 months (the "Lock Period"). For locks made on or after 12 October 2026 at 00:00 UTC, the required amounts are 70,000 FUSE for Prime and 600,000 FUSE for Ultra. Locked FUSE is deposited in your Solid Savings and held in a locked position associated with your account. During the Lock Period, locked FUSE continues to earn vault yield and points, cannot be withdrawn, transferred, swapped or spent, and the corresponding tier remains active. At the end of the Lock Period the FUSE becomes available to you again. Your tier ends when the Lock Period ends unless you lock the required amount again. FUSE held in Savings that is not locked does not qualify you for a tier.

4.3 Lock amounts. The required FUSE amounts may be reviewed periodically. A change applies only to new locks made after it takes effect and does not affect a lock already in place: a lock made before 12 October 2026 at the then-current amount remains valid for its full Lock Period. The current amounts are always shown in the app before you confirm.

4.4 Digital asset risk. FUSE is a digital asset and its value may go up or down during the Lock Period. Solid does not guarantee the value of locked FUSE, and locking FUSE is not an investment in Solid or a promise of any return other than the Program benefits described in these Rewards Terms.

4.5 Members who reached a tier before 25 September 2026. Members who reached Prime or Ultra before 25 September 2026, whether by accruing points or by holding FUSE in Savings, keep that tier and its benefits, including the benefits introduced on 5 October 2026, until Solid gives notice otherwise. Solid will give at least 30 days' notice before such members are required to subscribe or lock FUSE to keep their tier, at the amounts in effect on the date of the lock. Tier trials granted by Solid run until their stated end date.

5. Card cashback

Members earn cashback on eligible Solid card purchases at their current tier rate: 3% in Core, 4% in Prime, and 5% in Ultra. Total cashback, including category cashback, is capped each calendar month by tier: up to $50 in Core, up to $100 in Prime, and up to $200 in Ultra.

Cashback is credited in USDC to your Solid account approximately 14 days after the underlying card transaction settles. If a purchase is later refunded, reversed or charged back, the related cashback is removed, including after it has been paid, and may be deducted from future cashback. Certain transaction types are excluded from cashback, as described in Section 7.

6. Category cashback

Prime and Ultra members earn cashback at a category rate, instead of their regular card cashback rate, on eligible purchases made with the Solid card at the following merchants. Prime members have access to four categories (AI, streaming, music and rides); Ultra members have access to five (the same plus airlines):

  • AI: ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), Gemini, Perplexity, Cursor, Midjourney, GitHub Copilot. 10% for Prime, 20% for Ultra.
  • Streaming: Netflix, Disney+, YouTube Premium, Prime Video, Max, Apple TV+, Paramount+. 10% for Prime, 20% for Ultra.
  • Music: Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Deezer. 10% for Prime, 20% for Ultra.
  • Rides: Uber, Grab, Gojek (ride services only), Bolt, DiDi / 99, Cabify, FreeNow, Lyft, Yandex Go, and local taxi applications as identified by Solid. 8% for Prime, 10% for Ultra.
  • Airlines (Ultra only): Emirates, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Etihad, British Airways, Lufthansa, Air France, KLM, United, Delta, for bookings made directly on the airline's own website or application. 10% for Ultra.

Category cashback is subject to the following rules:

  • Merchant identification. Eligibility is determined by merchant name as recorded on the card transaction. Purchases billed through an intermediary such as PayPal, Google Play or the App Store, bundled with another product, made through a travel agency or booking site, or paid with vouchers, are not eligible and earn the regular card cashback rate. Hotel bookings are not eligible.
  • One eligible purchase per category per calendar month. In each category, the first eligible purchase settled in a calendar month earns the category rate. Any further purchase in the same category during that calendar month earns the member's regular card cashback rate. A member may therefore earn category cashback on up to four purchases per calendar month in Prime and up to five in Ultra.
  • No stacking. The category rate replaces the regular rate on eligible purchases. Category cashback counts toward the monthly cashback cap of your tier.
  • Refunds. Category cashback on refunded, reversed or charged-back purchases is removed, including after payout.
  • Existing subscriptions. Recurring subscriptions that a Prime or Ultra member was already paying with the Solid card before 5 October 2026 continue to earn the subscription cashback in effect before that date (25% for Prime, 50% for Ultra; one subscription per category per calendar month; capped at $50 per payment) for as long as the member continues to pay that subscription with the Solid card. Subscriptions started on or after 5 October 2026 earn category cashback under this Section.

The list of eligible merchants and the category rates may change under Section 12. The current list is published in the help center.

7. Excluded transactions and manufactured spend

Transactions in the following categories do not earn cashback, regular or category, in any tier, and do not count toward referral qualification under Section 9: cash and ATM withdrawals and quasi-cash; money transfers, payments to individuals including through PayPal or personal QR codes, wallet, card and account top-ups, and purchases of cryptocurrency or other digital assets; investments, brokerage, insurance and other financial services; gambling, betting and lotteries; government, tax, judicial and fine payments, and donations; gift cards, prepaid cards, vouchers, game credit and other digital goods; door-to-door and direct sales; and any other category or merchant listed in the Cashback Exclusions article in the help center, which forms part of these Rewards Terms. Solid identifies excluded transactions by merchant category code and by merchant name, and may add merchants or categories to the exclusions with notice in the help center. Cashback not yet paid on a transaction that becomes excluded is cancelled.

Cashback is intended to reward genuine personal spending. Solid may withhold, reduce or reverse cashback on purchases that Solid reasonably determines were made primarily to earn rewards rather than for genuine use, including repeated or automated small charges, spending designed to be converted back to cash or reloaded, purchases of digital goods for resale, small or split purchases made to meet a referral requirement, and unusual concentration of spend at a single merchant. Accounts showing these patterns may lose access to rewards.

8. Card Issuer

The Solid Rewards Program described in these Terms is offered and operated exclusively by Solid. It is a rewards program provided by Solid as an independent benefit to cardholders and users. This Program is not sponsored, administered, endorsed, or guaranteed by the card-issuing bank or financial institution that issues the Card (the "Card Issuer"). The Card Issuer bears no obligation or liability of any kind in connection with this Rewards Program, and any dispute or claim relating to the Rewards Program must be directed solely to Solid. Your Card account terms and conditions, which are governed by a separate agreement with the Card Issuer, continue to apply independently of these Terms.

9. Referrals

This Section applies to every referral reward not paid by 8 October 2026, including referrals where the referred user had already completed the qualifying steps before that date.

9.1 The reward. When a friend you invite (the "referred user") qualifies, you and the referred user each receive a reward with a value of $25, credited in FUSE to your Solid Savings. Rewards are converted from U.S. dollars to FUSE at the rate determined by Solid at the time of payout. FUSE is a digital asset and its value may go up or down after it is credited.

9.2 Who can take part. You need a Solid account in good standing. The referred user must sign up with your referral link or code, must complete identity verification, must never have had a Solid account before, and must be a different person from you. Each person may have only one Solid account.

9.3 How the referred user qualifies. Within 30 days of signing up, the referred user must activate a Solid card and make at least $150 of eligible purchases on it, at 3 or more different merchants, with at least $10 at each merchant. Purchases under $2 do not count. Spend is measured in U.S. dollars as charged to the card, after refunds.

9.4 Purchases that do not count. Transactions excluded under Section 7 do not count toward the qualifying spend or the merchant count. This includes money transfers and payments to people (including PayPal payments to individuals and QR-code payments to people); loading or topping up wallets, cards or accounts, such as Nequi, Tinaba or Revolut; gift cards, vouchers, game credit and other digital goods; cash withdrawals, currency exchange, crypto and money orders; investments, brokerage, insurance and other financial services; gambling, lotteries and betting; taxes, fines, government payments and donations; and purchases that are refunded, reversed, disputed or still pending. Solid keeps a list of excluded merchants and merchant categories in the Cashback Exclusions article and may update it.

9.5 Continued use. After qualifying, the referred user must make at least one more eligible purchase of $10 or more before the reward is paid. Rewards are paid approximately 30 days after the referred user qualifies, once any review under Section 9.6 is complete. A reward is cancelled if the referred user makes no further eligible purchase during that period.

9.6 Reviews and limits. Solid may review any reward before paying it. Reviews take up to 14 days. Solid always reviews rewards when more than 5 of your referred users qualify within 30 days. You may earn at most 50 referral rewards in total.

9.7 Not allowed. You may not: refer yourself, directly or through another account, device, email address or person; hold more than one Solid account; make purchases, or cause purchases to be made, mainly to meet the requirements, including small or split purchases made to reach the merchant count; share your link on coupon, deal or cashback sites, or through paid advertising, bots or automation; or give false identity information.

9.8 What Solid may do. If Solid reasonably believes these terms were broken, Solid may withhold or cancel rewards, take back a reward paid in the last 60 days by deducting it from your future rewards or cashback, stop you from taking part in the referral program, and act under the Solid User Terms.

9.9 Changes. Solid may change or end the referral program at any time. Changes apply to rewards not yet paid.

9.10 Decisions. Solid decides whether a reward qualifies, based on its records. If you disagree with a decision, contact support within 30 days.

9.11 Referrals made before 8 September 2026. Referrals made before 8 September 2026 are paid at the amounts in effect at that time, $15 for the referred user and $15 for the referrer, credited in USDC, with a qualifying spend of $75. The eligibility, exclusion, review and anti-abuse rules of this Section apply to any such reward not yet paid.

10. Nature of points and rewards

Points and tier status have no cash value, are not money, deposits, securities, or property, and are not redeemable for cash except as expressly provided through Program benefits such as card cashback. Tier status obtained through a subscription or a FUSE lock is a Program benefit for the relevant period and is not a right to any refund of the subscription fee or early release of locked FUSE. Points are personal to your account, are not transferable, and cannot be sold, assigned, or combined across accounts except as we allow. The Program is a promotional loyalty program and points and benefits are provided at our discretion.

11. Suspension and forfeiture

We may suspend or remove your participation, and may adjust, withhold, or cancel points, tiers, cashback, referral rewards and other benefits, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Rewards Terms or the Solid User Terms, engaged in fraud or abuse, or where required by law. Cashback or referral rewards paid in the last 60 days that we determine resulted from such conduct may be taken back by deduction from your future cashback and rewards. Points and unredeemed benefits are forfeited if your account is closed or terminated, except where the law requires otherwise.

12. Changes to the Program

The Program is offered at our discretion. We may change, suspend, or end the Program, or any part of it, including tiers, point earning rates, subscription prices, lock amounts and periods, cashback rates, caps, eligible merchants, exclusions, benefits, and eligibility, at any time. We will give at least 30 days' notice before a change to tier requirements or benefits that affects existing members, except where a shorter period is required by law or by our card partners. This notice period does not apply to changes to exclusions, referral rules or anti-abuse measures, which take effect when published and apply to cashback and referral rewards not yet paid. Your continued participation after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Rewards Terms.

13. Yield Boost

Prime and Ultra members receive a Yield Boost on their Solid Savings: an additional 2% APY for Prime on the first $10,000 of savings, and an additional 3% APY for Ultra on the first $25,000 of savings. The boost is calculated on the member's combined savings across all Solid vaults, accrues daily, is claimable by the member in the app, and is paid in soFUSE. Boost rates, caps and payment currency may be changed under Section 12. The boost is a Program benefit and is variable and not guaranteed. Benefits described in the app or in our communications as coming soon are not yet available, are not guaranteed, and become part of the Program only when we make them available.

14. Yield and card disclosures

Vault yield is variable and is not guaranteed. Any rate shown as "up to" is a maximum and not a promise of a specific return. Any annual value of rewards shown in our communications is a maximum at the monthly caps and is illustrative. Solid is a non-custodial service.

15. Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes that apply to points, cashback, or other rewards you receive. We may report rewards where required by law.

16. No warranty and limitation of liability

The Program is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your participation in the Program, including lost points, missed tiers, or unavailable benefits. Nothing in these Rewards Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

17. Governing law

These Rewards Terms are governed by, and form part of, the Solid User Terms, including their governing law and dispute resolution provisions.
