1. Yield on your savings

This is the foundation. Deposit into a Solid vault and your balance earns yield automatically, paid out daily. The rate fluctuates with market conditions, and the current rate is always shown in the app. There are no deposit fees and no lock-ups: your money stays yours and you can withdraw at any time.

Want to see the long-term effect? Use Simulate your savings on the Savings tab to see what your balance could grow into over time with compounding.

Earn more: yield compounds on your full balance, so the single biggest lever is depositing more and keeping it deposited. Idle funds sitting outside Solid earn nothing.

2. Tiers and points

Solid Rewards has three tiers. Everyone starts at Core. Prime and Ultra raise your cashback rate and cap, cut your fees, unlock category cashback and add a Yield Boost on your savings.

Prime vs Ultra membership benefits: 4% and 5% on every purchase, 10% and 20% on AI, streaming and music, 8% and 10% on rides, 10% on airlines for Ultra, Yield Boost +2% and +3%, access today and after 12 October, annual value up to $1,400 and $3,150

  • Prime: $199 per year, or lock 50,000 FUSE for 12 months (70,000 FUSE from 12 October 2026)
  • Ultra: lock 400,000 FUSE for 12 months (600,000 FUSE from 12 October 2026)

Locked FUSE stays in your account, earns yield and points for the whole period, and is released after 12 months. Your tier is active as long as the lock is. Lock before 12 October 2026 and you keep the current amount for your full 12 months. The current amounts are always shown in the app. For the step by step, see How does Solid Rewards work?

You also earn points for everything you do in Solid: 1 point every hour for every $1 held in a Solid vault (USDC, ETH or FUSE) or in your card balance, 1 point for every $1 spent on your Solid card, and 1 point for every $1 swapped in the app. Points no longer unlock tiers, but keep earning them. They are about to matter more than ever, and we will share more soon.

Earn more: make sure you have opted in to Rewards on the Rewards tab, so your points count. Then look at what Prime would return on your own spending: 4% back with a $100 monthly cap, 10% back on AI, streaming and music, 8% on rides, and +2% APY on savings. All in, Prime is worth up to $1,400 a year, and Ultra up to $3,150.

3. Card cashback

Every eligible purchase with your Solid card earns cashback in USDC, at your tier's rate:

  • Core: 3% back, up to $50 per month
  • Prime: 4% back, up to $100 per month
  • Ultra: 5% back, up to $200 per month

There is nothing to activate and no minimum spend. The card works anywhere Visa is accepted, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, with no card fees at any tier. Cashback is credited 14 days after the transaction settles. See How cashback works and how to spend it.

Earn more: if you save with Solid but haven't gotten your card yet, you're leaving cashback on the table every time you pay with another card. The card is free and activates in minutes. If you already spend on the card, moving up a tier raises your rate and your monthly cap.

4. Category cashback (Prime and Ultra)

Prime and Ultra members earn a higher rate at a list of popular merchants, paid in USDC. Prime has four categories, Ultra has five:

Category cashback for Prime and Ultra: AI, streaming and music 10% on Prime and 20% on Ultra, rides 8% and 10%, airlines 10% on Ultra only, with the eligible merchants in each category

  • AI: 10% at Prime, 20% at Ultra. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Cursor, Midjourney, GitHub Copilot.
  • Streaming: 10% at Prime, 20% at Ultra. Netflix, Disney+, YouTube Premium, Prime Video, Max, Apple TV+, Paramount+.
  • Music: 10% at Prime, 20% at Ultra. Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Deezer.
  • Rides: 8% at Prime, 10% at Ultra. Uber, Grab, Gojek (rides only), Bolt, DiDi / 99, Cabify, FreeNow, Lyft, Yandex Go and local taxi apps.
  • Airlines (Ultra only): 10% on Emirates, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Etihad, British Airways, Lufthansa, Air France, KLM, United and Delta, booked directly on the airline's website or app.

The rules:

  • The category rate replaces your regular rate on those purchases; the two do not add up.
  • One purchase per category per month. In each category, the first eligible purchase of the calendar month earns the category rate; further purchases in that category that month earn your regular card rate. That is up to 4 category purchases a month at Prime and 5 at Ultra. Category cashback counts toward your tier's monthly cashback cap.
  • Merchants qualify by name. Subscriptions billed through PayPal, Google Play or the App Store, flights bought through agencies or booking sites, and hotel bookings earn your regular card cashback instead.

Subscriptions you were already paying with your Solid card before 5 October 2026 keep earning the previous subscription cashback (25% at Prime, 50% at Ultra, one per category per month, up to $50 per payment) for as long as you keep paying them. Subscriptions started from 5 October 2026 earn the category rates.

Earn more: if you're at Core, this is one of the strongest reasons to reach Prime. If you're already Prime or Ultra, put your main subscription in each category, your rides and your flights on your Solid card. The first purchase in each category every month earns the category rate, and everything else still earns your regular 4% or 5%.

5. Referrals

Inviting friends pays both of you $25 in FUSE:

  • Your friend earns $25 in FUSE after signing up with your link, activating their card, and spending $150 on everyday purchases at 3 or more different shops, with $10 or more at each, within 30 days, then making one more purchase of $10 or more before the reward is paid
  • You earn $25 in FUSE for each friend who completes those steps, up to 50 rewards in total

Rewards land in your Savings, where FUSE earns yield and points, and can be locked toward a tier upgrade. Transfers, wallet top-ups, gift cards, game credit, gambling and other cashback exclusions do not count toward the $150, and some rewards are reviewed before payout. Referrals made before September 8, 2026 are paid under the previous amounts ($15 in USDC each). See Refer a friend: how to earn $25 in FUSE for the full rules.

Earn more: every reward is FUSE you can lock toward Prime or Ultra, and every friend who joins and starts spending earns you another $25 in FUSE. Tap Invite friends on the Rewards tab to get your link.

6. Borrow Mode: keep earning while you spend

Normally, spending your savings means giving up the yield they were earning. Borrow Mode removes that trade-off. Instead of selling your savings, you borrow USDC against your soUSD at a low rate and spend as usual, while your full savings balance keeps earning yield in the background. Your yield can go toward repaying what you borrowed.

Earn more: if you regularly spend from your savings, enable Borrow Mode in your Card settings. Your balance keeps compounding instead of shrinking with every purchase. See "Understanding Your Solid Card: Savings Mode vs Borrow Mode" for how limits and repayment work.

7. Yield Boost: extra APY for higher tiers

Higher tiers earn more than cashback. Yield Boost adds extra APY on top of the base yield your savings already earn: +2% at Prime on your first $10,000 in savings and +3% at Ultra on your first $25,000. It is calculated on your savings across all vaults combined (USDC, ETH and FUSE), accrues daily, and you claim it from the banner at the top of the vault whenever you like. It is paid in soFUSE, so it keeps earning once claimed. There is nothing to activate: as soon as you hold Prime or Ultra, the boost applies.

Earn more: a higher tier raises your cashback rate, your cap and your savings rate at the same time. The fastest path to earning more is reaching the next tier, with a subscription or a FUSE lock, and locking before 12 October 2026 gets you the current FUSE amount.

What should I do next?

  • You hold savings but don't have the card: get your free card and turn everyday spending into cashback and points.
  • You spend on the card but keep little in Solid: deposit more. Savings earn yield daily and every dollar earns points.
  • You're on Core: upgrade to Prime from the Rewards tab. A higher tier raises your cashback rate and your cap, cuts your fees, unlocks category cashback and raises your savings rate with Yield Boost.
  • You're Prime or Ultra: put your subscriptions, rides and flights on your Solid card and collect the category cashback.
  • You spend from your savings: enable Borrow Mode so your balance keeps earning while you spend.
  • You've done all of the above: invite friends. Each one who joins and spends earns you $25 in FUSE.

Solid is not a bank. Yield rates, including Yield Boost, fluctuate and are not guaranteed. FUSE is a digital asset and its value can go up or down. Locked FUSE cannot be withdrawn before its unlock date. Annual values are maximums at the monthly caps and are illustrative. All rewards are subject to the Solid Rewards Terms and Conditions.
